Marvel of Piedmont is an easy growing, richly flavored, flat Romano bean. Beautiful pods are streaked with purple which fades with cooking. Tasty and very productive, these beans resemble Dragon Tongue but are lighter colored and slightly less speckled. An Italian bean from the Piedmont region in northern Italy, the epicenter of the international Slow Food movement.
Planting instructions: plant bush beans in rows spaced between 2- 3 feet apart, spacing seeds 3-4 inches apart in each row. Plant in full sun in rich soil placing seed 1 inch deep and cover with compost.
