We recommended these stunning bowls for decorative or ritual purposes. Traditionally they are used in the bath to pour water over your head and rinse the hair delicately. We often use them to collect seeds too!

To polish, create a paste with 1/8 cup flour, 1/8 cup salt and mix in vinegar until it becomes a paste. Use an old t-shirt or soft cloth and drop paste onto the surface of the bowl and buff in circular motions then rinse and dry well. In a pinch you can use ketchup too but the paste works best!

We have a limited quantity and are grateful to learn our friend's shop in Gaziantep is still standing after the earthquakes in Turkey last year. We've priced them slightly higher than the previous copper bowls as a built in way to support our family in Turkey.
