55 days, Dark green fruit with light green stripes.
A richly flavored and productive zucchini from Southern Italy. A good choice for the garden as San Pasquale is productive but not overwhelmingly, the perfect zucchini for urban gardening.
Yield is consistent all season long. Produces tons of male flowers which are great for stuffing or frying.
Planting instructions: Start seeds indoors about 2-3 weeks before your frost date in a warm, sunny window or under lights. Transplant carefully to avoid root damage when outdoor daytime temps reach (about 75 F). OR direct seed in spring, planting in small hills with 5-6 seeds in a 7-8 inch circle, and then thin to leave only the strongest 3 plants. Space hills 5 feet apart in a full sun location. Or you can sow 3 seeds per foot in rows 6 feet apart and once germinated, thin to one plant per 12 inches. Mulch well to retain even moisture.
