We have established a relationship with our trusted supplier over the past five years who source our Marimo ethically and responsibly and for that reason we are proudly one of the very few trusted distributors of zebra mussel free, healthy, happy, thriving Marimo in the U.S.

All our Marimo come wrapped in 100% recycled and compostable packaging.

MARIMO OPTIONS

• Mini: 10 to 15 years old, measure between 0.75-1.25 inches in diameter.
• Regular: 15 to 25 years old, measure between 1.25-1.75 inches in diameter.
• NEW - Large: 25-35 years old, measure between 2.0-2.5 inches in diameter.

More Options

• Seconds: range between 1.0-2.0 inches in diameter. Marimo Seconds are healthy and vibrant Marimo, but imperfect - shaped less spherically than our other Marimo. They may be more egg shaped or indented, but they are just as lovable! We suggest these for your fish tank or as an aquatic furry friend for kids who want to experience caring for a Marimo and may be a bit more hands on.
• Pieces: occasionally, Marimo break into pieces and will take decades to grow into a sphere once again. These broken pieces are fantastic for Water Gardens and your Aquariums as wonderful friends for turtles and fish alike. Pieces come in various sizes, ranging from 1 to 3 inches each. They are healthy, non spherical Marimo.
