Care: Succulents love as much light as you can give them!
If indoors, place in brightest light possible, ideally with cooler temperatures. If light levels are too low the plants will stretch and not be as bright in color. You may want to place your ring outside periodically if plants stretch. Don't place in extreme light locations or the plants may burn.
If you are keeping your ring outdoors, high light levels are best, with protection from mid-day intense heat, as plants may scorch.
The ideal watering method is to soak your ring in a container or tub of water for an hour. How often you need to soak will vary depending on your climate (can sometimes be weeks). You can determine if you need to soak, by holding your ring. The backside of the ring will feel hard and the ring will be light in weight when dry. After soaking, make sure to drain the wreath on a flat surface before hanging. Never mist or sprinkle with water as it will discourage root growth and leave mineral deposits on the foliage. Most succulents are drought tolerant and can go for long periods without water.
Check and protect the surface where you hang the wreath. Although there are risers on the back of the wreath, you will want to make sure it is not damaging the wall/door it is hanging on.
Rotate your wreath periodically in one-quarter turns to ensure uniform growth. Plants grow at different rates depending on variety. Pinch plants as necessary to control growth; you may even want to plant these starters (from pinching) in your garden or indoor pot. The Sedums and Sempervivums in this wreath both root very easily.
