Fresh Carpet and Tree Moss
Here in the Pacific Northwest a variety of mosses grows everywhere, especially during the winter and spring months when lush green tufts covers sidewalks, pathways, tree bark, rocks and practically any hard surface that’s left undisturbed for any period of time!
Carpet and tree moss have the unique ability to soak up vast amounts of water in their capillaries and help soak up rainfall and moisture making them perfect for getting soil propagated cuttings going or for topping off soil in tropical houseplants that need a little extra moisture retention.
Moss is also an excellent way propagating your cuttings! Carpet Moss can be with Sphagnum Moss to create Kokedama - a stunning way to display houseplants where the soil is wrapped in moss. Carpet Moss is also a lovely way to add a vibrant pop of green to your terrariums.
*Each order of Tree Moss includes approximately two 6 x 8 Inch sections of sustainably harvested, Oregon tree moss
