Easy Solutions to Add More Light
Does your home lack natural light or do the windows have limited sunlight exposure? No problem, here are two easy ways to increase the growing light in your home for your plants (and for you)!
1. Swap out your existing light bulbs for natural full spectrum light bulbs. This easy switch not only helps your plants to thrive, it can help elevate your mood too! We always do this swap in the bathroom to enjoy the benefits each time we shower. Happier plants, happier you!
2. Invest in a few grow lights. There are hundred of choices out there and so may ways to use grow lights from lighting strip tape that stick under your shelves to versatile, height adjustable LED ring lights to full light stands. We suggest keeping these on timers or turn them on for at least 6 hours during the fall and winter months. Your plants will thank you for the supplemental sunshine, promise!
3. Give your plants a sun bath! See some sun in the forecast? Open your door or bring your plants outside for a sunbath treat. Even an hour or two will offer your indoor plants a nice boost of light and trigger photosynthesis helping your plants stay healthy and keep them growing strong.
