Houseplants can get powdery mildew too? Yes!
Although we tend to see this white, blotchy fungal disease covering the leaves of our zucchini or cucumbers at the end of their growing season, indoor plants like begonias are susceptible to powdery mildew as well.

Powerdy mildew is a fungal infection that can spread quickly to overtake your plant and eventually, unalive it altogether. It starts off as blotchy spots and spreads from leaf to leaf. Once the spores get going, they take over rather quickly, signaling an end to healthy leafy growth of your plant or crops. And although the fruit of crops like cucumbers, pumpkins or zucchini can continue to mature, the plant itself is slowly dying.
*Some ornamental plants like roses, daisies, dahlias, and coleus are also susceptible to powdery mildew.
We have a natural and effective remedy for you! Sacred Leaf Tonic contains powerful anti fungal properties that terminate the production of the fungal spores.
How to effectively treat mildew while boosting overall plant health:
Step 1. Remove all infected leaves. That may be quite a few, don't worry, your plant will make a comeback during and after treatment.
One reason plants get powdery mildew is lack of air circulation. Removing the infected leaves does two things: it lessens the amount of powdery mildew spores that spread and gives your plant more breathing room to heal and grow.
Step 2. Mix up a fresh batch of Sacred Leaf Tonic and get spraying! Be sure to cover all sides of the leaves, stem and also the topsoil.
Step 3. Repeat Often! If possible, spray your plant daily but at least 3-4 times a week for optimal results and full recovery. Be patient and vigilant and you’ll be rewarded with a healthy comeback!
